We made our way across town, taking the subway and walking several blocks to find Serendipity’s. Never having been to this ice cream parlor on steroids, as it is known, we were looking forward to see what all the hype was about. We found the Manhattan townhouse with Victorian decorations along with a very long line. With a two-hour wait, we started looking around for another restaurant. We discovered Patsy’s Pizzeria across the street. It was an informal pizza parlor offering brick-oven pies with salads & pastas for over 60 years. We enjoyed two pies, then headed out for the theatre.
