After visiting with the turtles at Turtle Bay we headed to lunch at Haleiwa Joe’s Seafood Grill. It was very nice little grill with a great patio, the weather was perfect for eating outside. They had a nice menu and really good drinks. We really liked the glasses so we bought some to bring home. In the bottom of the glass there was sand, a star fish and other cute sea things.
We had eight Mai-Tais, three Long Island Ice Teas and one Gordon Biersch. They were all good, so cute with the umbrellas and fruit. The drinks helped pass the time until we got our food.
The Fresh Island Fish Tacos was grilled fresh island fish on field greens wrapped in a flour tortilla & served with Santa Fe sauce & pico de gallo.
Joe’s Pulled Porlk sliders were made from slow roasted pork with Hawaiian glaze on sweet taro buns with Asian Slaw.
The Fish Sandwich was made from a premium cut of local fish, lightly breaded & deep fried served with sundried tomato aioli and Maui style chips.
Anyone for Calamari and Luau Lumpia?
We had a relaxing lunch, enjoying the food and drinks.
