The Port of Los Angeles, also called America’s Port, is a port complex that occupies 7,500 acres of land and water along 43 miles of waterfront and adjoins the separate Port of Long Beach. It is the busiest passenger port of call on the United States West Coast. The port is also the number-one freight gateway in the United States when ranked by the value of shipments passing through it. From the ship we could see the bright light, in the picture to the right. Don’t know what it is, but it was bright!!
