Steve, Dee and I arrived at port, did the usual heath form, got our pictures taken for our ship ID card. The card is a plastic the size of a credit card that serves several functions. The cards are scanned at various points throughout the ship, such as entry into our cabin, purchases made on the ship, shows on the ship, and to identify the passengers as we exit the ship and returned to the ship at ports. The card has the name of the cruise company, of the ship, dates of voyage, name of passenger, and Muster station. Once all the registration was done, it was a very short time before we were working our way up to the check-in point on the ship.
Along the way the staff had staged beach chairs with beach towels and drinks.
As we stepped into the atrium we found Rick and Suzy waiting for us. And we were off to have lunch and explore the ship.
