It was lunch time so had lunch at the Vineyard Restaurant. It is known for its eclectic, casual, gourmet meals made from local ingredients from area farms, including herbs and vegetables from their own garden. We ate on the outdoor patio, shaded by a trellis of grape vines, that looks west to the estate vineyards.  This was the first time we saw dandelions growing under vines. Asking about this, we learned that dandelions are an early easily available source of food for pollinators. Each one is laced with nectar and pollen.
