We decided it might be fun to rent a villa in St. John VI for a week with the Rotchfords. We traveled by plane, ferry and jeep to get to our home for a week. We flew into St. Thomas and boarded the Red Hook Ferry arriving at 10:00 pm at St. John, A person from the rental agency met us at the ferry with our Jeep. We took Southshore Road out-of-town, pass the Westin, made a right on Great Cruaz Bay Road. We passed Laughing Gull Lane, went over 3 speed bumps and made a left at Great Sunset. This took us from Great Cruz Bay to Chocolate Hole. The house sat directly in front of us behind 2 stone pillars marked Chocolate Hole 98. The house was yellow with peach trim. The owners, of the villa, had their white Cherokee in the driveway. After exploring the villa, we made sandwiches from the provisions we had ordered in advance of our arrival. The living room had a great view of the Chocolate Bay. All of the windows folded back on to themselves. This was a good thing since we did not have air conditioning.
This is the side door in the living room.
Our bedroom from two different views. The hallway lead to the washer & dryer, our bath and the pool.
